Unity Point
Unity Point is located at the intersection of Broad Street and Springhill Avenue.
A statue of John LeFlore and Joe Langan, created by Mobile sculptor Casey Downing Jr., was installed in the park and unveiled August 22, 2009.
The park cost $684,000, plus $101,000 spent during Mayor Mike Dow's term to commission the 8-foot-tall statue.
The local chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. has agreed to mow the grass and maintain the park.
